A fruitilicious summer season at Veranda Resorts

Spending the end of year festivities in Mauritius entails savouring seasonal tropical fruit, basking in the sun, oven-like sand and 28 degree water and lingering, barefoot in flimsy clothing… and many other things! You have to admit: there’s no better way to ring in the New Year!

Veranda Resorts: Celebrate like locals

festive buffet

Skimping quality for quantity and vice versa is unthinkable at Veranda Resorts. There will be apéro -cocktail hour- on the beach, festive buffets, brunches serving traditional Christmas dishes, gala dinners serving local Mauritian fare, poolside barbecues and picnics under the coconut trees. In other words, these balmy days will be filled with gourmandise. The vacationers will be able to indulge in all the goodness and not lift a finger: our attentive and efficient team will take care of everything.

Veranda Resorts promises to lead its clientele ‘Deep into Mauritius’ by entertaining the Mauritian way. Christmas and New Year’s Eve will be festive, with a dancefloor for those who want to dance their way into 2017. The art of Mauritian entertaining is the art of hosting outdoors. Some dinners will be held on the beach, under a starlit sky, bare feet in the sand.

Lunch barefeet in the sand

For Veranda Resorts, it is unconceivable to celebrate without music and a show. Our animation team has prepared a program filled with live music bands, a cabaret, cultural performances, Christmas carols, and a visit from Father Christmas (with his sack filled with gifts). We promise a magical atmosphere. It isn’t a party without fireworks, right? Luckily the beach-located Veranda Resorts hotels offer front row seats for the red, pink, blue and white glittering fireworks!
