Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort will soon be revealing a new appearance, improving guests’ experience and give a stylish upgrade to the settings. The internal soft refurbishment will start in June 2014 and will be completed by the end of August 2014 and will not disrupt the resort.

A variety of changes to the décor of the room with soft furnishings and subtle upholstery details creating a softer feel. Updated design elements include the use of cane weaving patterns in carpets, printed pictures of Mauritian life on cushions, travel quotes as artwork… A more contemporary conceptual feel is achieved through the use of neutral colours mixed with ribbed textures which will convey a calming elegance to the rooms complementing the darker colour code and African features found in public areas.

Other improvements will see a brand new contemporary beach front restaurant and bar, Infinity Blue. A revitalised new look will also be given to our Indian restaurant, Zafarani where a mix of old stones and vivid colours will create a warm and incredible atmosphere.

Last but not least, the creation of a dedicated bridal room within the 3000m2 Seven Colours Spa and a refreshing of the massage rooms and relaxation areas will be carried out.

Christine Dupont, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Heritage and Veranda Resorts states: “We are committed to improve our standards by frequent refurbishment to grow a sustainable business and build the ongoing confidence of our partners and strong levels of repeat business with our guests.”

Stay tuned and discover the reveal of the new decor over the next few months.
